Jane Elizabeth Michael, 87, of Boca Grande, and formerly of Marion, Ohio, passed away Dec. 23, 2011, after a brief illness.
Born July 13, 1924, to Everett H. and Inez Smith, of Bucyrus, Ohio, she she married Walter R. (Mike) Michael in 1966. They moved to Boca Grande in 1989.
She was predeceased by her husband in February 2011. They were members of the Boca Grande Club and First Presbyterian Church in Ohio.
Survivors include two stepchildren, Jeffrey B. Michael of Bucyrus and Jean M. Eagan of Spring Lake, Mich; and two step-grandchildren, Patrick M. Eagan of Greenwich, Conn., and William J. Eagan of Hilton Head Island, S.C.
Lemon Bay Funeral Home in Englewood and Wise Funeral Home in Bucyrus is handling the arrangements. A private memorial service will be held later in Ohio.
