Favored Gasparilla Island artist Caroll Swayze will headline the 26th annual Invitational Art Show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. the weekend of Jan. 26-27 at the main branch of Englewood Bank & Trust, 1111 S. McCall Road.
"My little show is always well supported by the residents of Gasparilla Island and I know they want to get it on their calendar," Swayze said.
At least 55 artists will be represented in mediums ranging from painting, sculpture, fine jewelry, glass, printmaking, clay in all forms, drawing, metal, and collage.

"Any media you can imagine will be represented," Swayze said. "Being an invitational, I have the privilege of hand picking the artists who participate in the Art Festival. I spent countless hours this year scouring the country for unusual and fabulous original art to showcase."
Well-known fine artists and craftsmen from all over North America will share their incredible talents, she said.
"It's a show you don't want to miss. I'm calling it 'The Best Little Art Show in Englewood.' "

Swayze has been a professional artist her entire life. She's been chosen to exhibit in shows and galleries all over the United States, the Caribbean Islands, Central and South Americas, Canada, and Japan. Her work is collected publicly and privately all over the world.
Swayze's latest honor is being named communications chairman on the nonprofit National Association of Independent Artists Board. The NAIA works to enhance the economic well-being of exhibiting artists, encourage creative expression and artistic excellence, and expand public awareness, appreciation and acquisition of fine art and crafts.
