To the Editor:
It is true we feel this year's (the 11th) "Taste" was the biggest and the best.
We sold out.
'Twas the best crowd, best food, better tent setup than last year, best weather in a couple of years and liveliest crowd, which means they were having a good time!
We heard dozens of remarks reflecting all of the above.
What'll we do next year? We can only hope the hunger need will begin to go in the other direction! The need has been growing year after year.
Right now, we are distributing a million pounds of food a month. Let's see the jobless and hungry numbers go down!
