Charlotte County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit detectives arrested three Rotonda West residents at their home at 63 Annapolis Lane around 7 a.m. Tuesday: Daniel Curtis Hood, 22; his girlfriend, Caitlyn Marie Christiano, 21; and her 26-year-old brother, Clifford Michael Christiano.
The investigation began in December. During a search of the home detectives reportedly seized 2,830.2 grams of marijuana in large vacuum-sealed bags from cardboard boxes delivered by FedEx along with $5,460 in cash, marijuana cigarettes, and five Pyrex pipes with marijuana residue. Estimated street value of the marijuana was $35,000.
Hood and Caitlyn Christiano were charged with sale and delivery of marijuana and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Clifford Christiano was charged with sale and delivery of marijuana and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. All posted a $6,000 bond each and were released.
