Charlotte County Sheriff's detectives arrested two fugitives in the theft of nine weapons, cash and coins from an Englewood-area home Jan. 26.
Adam Joseph Fulp, 28, 8290 Osprey Road, Englewood, was found at 900 Pine St. in Englewood. he is charged with grand theft, dealing in stolen property and giving false information to a second-hand dealer. He was also charged in connection with an Oct. 17, 2012, burglary and theft of $8,500 in household items and a 1999 Ford Expedition stolen from a home in the 1400 block of Banos Avenue in South Gulf Cove. Fulp was charged with burglary, grand theft and grand theft motor vehicle.
Christopher Douglas Huntoon, 36, of Gulf Cove, was arrested in Bradenton Thursday. Huntoon remains in the Manatee County Jail on charges of grand theft (weapons), tampering with evidence and possession of firearms by a felon.

CCSO detectives arrested five others involved in the Englewood case where the nine weapons, more than $50,000 in cash, and more than 100 silver collectors' coins were stolen from a safe in the 8400 block of Truman Street. The CCSO Dive Team located six stolen weapons in an Englewood canal. Another weapon was seized when Sarasota County Sheriff's detectives bought it from Patricia Joyce Snyder, 47, and her daughter, Jennifer Elizabeth Snyder, 26, 720 S. Broadway Ave., Englewood (Sarasota County). The other three arrests were Todd Michael Matsinger, 39, 2120 McCall Road, Englewood; Ross William Houle, 22, 30 Oakland Hills Court, Rotonda West; and William Brandon Shaffer, 32, 7216 Batavia St., Englewood East.
CCSO detectives have warrants out for Justin Kyle Richardson, 30, of Englewood, and Jessica Kay Kieck, 24, Englewood East. If anyone has information on the whereabouts of Richardson and Kieck, please call the CCSO at 941-639-2101, or Crime Stoppers at 800-780-TIPS (8477).
Detectives obtained pawn transactions Fulp reportedly made Feb. 6 of 142 silver coins for $3,022 at the Gold & Silver Refinery, 4047 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota; and several pieces of jewelry and a silver coin sold Jan. 28 to Golf Pros in Town Center Mall in Port Charlotte. In the South Gulf Cove case, Fulp and another unnamed person allegedly stole $8,500 worth of household items and the Ford Expedition, which was recovered Oct. 17 off Telman Road, Rotonda West, about two blocks from where Fulp was living at that time.
Fulp remains in the Charlotte County Jail on no bond. Huntoon will be transferred from the Manatee County Jail to face charges in Charlotte County. Detectives are continuing the investigations.
