A chilly, damp Strawberry Festival blossomed into the sunny, warm affair it annually has been Saturday in a bit of a miracle for the Boca Grande United Methodist Church Women fundraiser.
A cheer rose from the coat-clad crowd around 10 a.m. as the sun burned its way through gray cloud cover even while rain was still falling on the mainland.
